Glandora
8 species from the Mediterranean, perennials, typically blue flowers and in the family Boraginaceae.
As with all members of the borage family, the flowers of Glandora are tubular, which restricts access to the nectar to the longer-tongued pollinators, such as certain bumblebees and especially bee-flies. The hard seeds are nutlets that are taken by seed-eating birds, such as finches and sparrows.
Some of these were previously known as Lithodora.
